2009/10 Indoor Soccer

This year, the Strikers indoor season will be divided into two, six-week 'seasons' running from December 4, 2009 through March 19, 2010. On December 4 & 11, registered players will participate in 'open play' evenings to help determine team placement. Match play will begin on December 18 with 4 even teams of players, and these teams will play a 6-game season. Following this season, the teams will be shuffled into 4 new teams for the remaining 6-game season beginning on February 6. One registration includes 14 weeks of soccer and participation on two different teams.

The Strikers indoor season is geared for strong intermediate to advanced skill levels. It is not recommended for beginner to intermediate players. We will offer opportunities for all skill levels when we resume outdoor play in the spring of 2010.

This year we will again be utilizing the SportsPlex facility in Canton, MA. Just like last year we will have one field reserved for two hours versus two fields for one hour. All games will be held on Friday evenings. The first game is from 8-9pm and the second game is on the same field from 9-10pm.

We anticipate players will still carpool together as this allows an opportunity to watch fellow players. We will circulate information to enable players to form car pools the week prior to the start of each season. A change to Friday night also makes it easier for the group to socialize after the games.

The cost is $120 for club members and $135 for non-members.
